Change Email or Password

Verification #

When you signed up for this service you received an email which contained a verification number. This number is required if you want to change either your email address or password. If you have lost that email and do not have your verification number, you will need to contact us. We will not provide this number on the telephone, so please do not call. Click here to send an email to admin@statpac.com. It may take up to one business day to verify your identity.

New Email

The email you provide must be accurate. Falsifying your email address will result in the immediate cancellation of your account.

New Password

Your password is the only thing that protects your account from hackers and other people who would sabotage your surveys and data. We strongly urge you to choose a strong password and not tell anyone. Your password must be 6-15 characters and contain a combination of alpha and numeric characters (e.g. it must use both letters and numbers).

Change Folder Name

Description

Each user or subscription has a private folder on our server. All of your surveys are stored and run from that folder. Typically, user's will use their company name or company initials for their private folder name.

The URL to your surveys consists of the domain, folder name, and survey name with a .htm extension. In this example, the domain is "webpoll.org", the folder name is "statpac", and the survey name is "customers". The link would be:

https://webpoll.org/statpac/customers.htm

The folder name is case sensitive. We recommend using all lower case for your folder name (as well as your survey names). If you are emailing links to potential respondents, it probably doesn't matter, but if you will be giving potential respondents a link (either verbally or in writing), then there is less chance of a mistake if you don't use mixed case. Private folder names may not contain spaces, punctuation, or special characters.

Add-ons

There are two add-on for the Web Poll tool.

StatPac Mailer lets you send customized e-mail invitations from your own computer. Security is maintained because you do not release your e-mail list to anyone else. There is no cost and no limit to the number of e-mails you can send. It may be used to send e-mail invitations in plain text or HTML format, and it can include an attachment. ID numbers can be embedded within links to track respondents. StatPac Mailer also includes a complete e-mail list management system to capture, clean, sort, join, split, and manage huge email lists.

StatPac for Windows lets you design the questions on your own PC. You do not need an Internet connection while using StatPac for Windows so you can develop your questions when you're traveling and have no internet connection. Then, when you're ready, upload the codebook to the Web Poll server, and with minor editing, you'll have the the completed online survey.
